The role:
The Senior Graphic
Designer works as part of the global, fast-paced internal Creative Studio team,
creating a large and varied number of digital and print based assets to support
STA Travel’s products and partnerships in German, (and French).
Working closely with
the rest of the creative team (mostly London based), you will have the
opportunity to work across, and lead a broad range of projects which should be
creatively considered and work seamlessly across all touch points for the STA
Travel brand, across mostly digital and print projects. This role focuses on
creating, leading and delivering visually compelling design solutions from
concept to completion, with a hands-on approach and supporting in other
business areas/teams such as Marketing and Content in German (and French)
language.

Job
responsibilities:
- Driving creative project
results and productive innovative designs and ideas.
- Reviewing designs and
developing new ideas/suggestions to create a better user experience or
brand consistency.
- Management of design campaigns
and associated project work.
- Transfer and adoption of global
digital and print designs for German (and French) speaking markets.
- Staying up to date with youth,
visual and print design trends.
- Making sure that the STA Travel
brand is applied consistently and strongly in all areas of design.
- Supporting the Design Manager
in pushing for design thinking, creativity and innovation for the team and
developing house rules for brand alignment and check they are followed on
design work.
- Proposing innovative ideas to
help develop the brand/team.
- Ensure excellent timekeeping
and design standards are maintained daily by yourself and by other designers.
Who you are:
- Good English knowledge
- Excellent German (and French as
a plus) skills, including spelling and punctuation.
- Over 6 years professional
design experience in a commercial setting.
- Over 1-year project or people
management experience.
- Excellent working knowledge of
Adobe Creative Cloud Suite - Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design,
typography, graphic layout, strong experience in digital and print
production processes and solid experience in email and content design for
responsive websites.
- An inspiring portfolio that
shows amazing levels of creativity, a wide variety of styles and
demonstrates you can present your work and point of view in an expert and
compelling way.
- Excellent time management /
organizational skills, with the ability to think through, plan and
priorities tasks to meet tight deadlines.
- Professional, passionate and
pro-active ‘can do’ attitude to your work and keen to continue learning
and developing skills at a high level.
