Solution Architect - Departament IT Smart Factory

Requirements:

• University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Languages: English – fluent, German represents advantage.
• Ability to design architectures that integrate enterprise IT systems (ERP, UNS, etc.) with operational technologies.
• Deep understanding of IoT and MES systems.
• Knowledge of smart factory ecosystems and the ability to orchestrate real‑time optimization.
• Strong understanding of production flows, quality systems, and logistics.
• Familiarity with modelling processes and technical solutions using BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation).
• Ability to blueprint end‑to‑end value chains and ensure system interoperability.

Responsabilities: 

• Close cooperation with local IT, Smart Factory, Smart Production team and support local development of smart projects.
• Understanding and analysis of requirements of other departments for future implementations within the Smart Factory department.
• Design IT architecture for new implementations, data management, within the Smart Factory department, together with operational departments.
• Modelling of processes and technical solutions through BPMN (Business Process Model and Notation) diagram.
• Define technical solutions for implementations, software developments, within the Smart Factory department.
• Documents and reports implementations that do not work correctly (bugs).
• Support project management in terms of documentation (incident list, Q&A, training manuals).
• Providing support in continuous improvement process.
