Join our dynamic team as a Dealer Business Manager and play a pivotal role in driving sales success! You'll partner with Steelcase dealers in your assigned territory to develop, track, and manage comprehensive sales plans. This role offers the opportunity to lead account strategies from early sales cycles to completion, providing invaluable insights and support to ensure dealers meet their targets and sell the complete Steelcase portfolio.

You'll help close priority sales opportunities, serve as the dealer's voice within Steelcase, and collaborate with internal teams on mock-ups, showroom branding, new product launches, and more. By setting and managing dealer-specific sales goals, you'll work closely with dealer leadership to achieve outstanding results.

What You Will Be Doing:

Within the European Growth Markets team, supporting remotely a list of dealers in Poland, in close collaboration with the other Dealer Business Managers, Business Development Managers, and sales leaders, you will:

  • Establish greater communication and alignment with dealers across the brands, resources, and corporate programs.
  • Focus on and be accountable for growing business within Steelcase brands and vertical markets.
  • Facilitate training to support dealer growth and capabilities.
  • Lead relationship development and alignment with dealer management (being the go-to person for the dealership).
  • Understand our dealers' business, run monthly sales reviews.
  • Interact with clients to grow and gain more business in existing dealer-led and Steelcase global accounts, and close priority sales opportunities.
  • Develop key country strategies on projects from the early stages with our dealers to maximize Steelcase market presence.
  • Coordinate the involvement of remote Steelcase teams and subject-matter experts to strengthen dealer capabilities and support specific sales opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM to capture account/opportunity progress and communicate strategies/activities with the team.

Who You Are:

Preferred Skills & Competencies:

  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and willing to accept responsibility for results.
  • Proven experience in developing strategies on accounts from early sales stages.
  • Able to lead and influence others without a direct reporting relationship.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Able to build long-term working relationships with highly diverse functions in dealers', customers', and Steelcase organizations.
  • Sets high goals and standards for self and others in the organization.
  • Able to proactively recognize dealer needs (e.g., training and support) and align resources to meet them.
  • Shows a good understanding of issues relevant to our overall organization and business and keeps that knowledge current.
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills.
