In this role you will be responsible for the creation and adjustment of quotes and order entry (offering Steelcase products to customers) & assist the more experienced team members with pricing spreadsheets linked to sales projects, in support of our cross-border EMEA & global customer proposals as well as direct business.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Develop quotation solutions based on the Steelcase product offerings, creating complete project quotations for various business streams; Processing the corresponding orders, based on the Purchase Orders received from the customers.
- Assisting the more experienced team members with the pricing spreadsheets (final net customer prices for all locations covered and all types of costs requested), when needed.
- Communicate with internal customers to define request/project requirements.
- Calculate Freight, Delivery & Installation charges, together with subject matter experts and based on input from dealers or Project Managers.
- Develop & maintain a high level of product knowledge (participate in product trainings of all existing & new products being launched).
- Read & interpret typical drawings, able to configure basic applications in Pcon Planner Pro.
- Deliver accurate and timely responses, contributing to increasing our win rate & profitability.
- Efficiently manage own time & accurately track capacity and project completion through internal workflow and capacity planning & management tools (included in the CRM tool).
Who You Are:
- Any experience in multicultural teams, groups or contexts would help a lot – for example: NGOs, volunteering, camp facilitator, Erasmus participant or school exchanges in foreign countries.
- Stress resistance in the face of tight deadlines and demands of multiple requests – solution-oriented thinking.
- Strong diligence and attention to detail.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, flexibility & assertive approach.
- Good organization skills and great time management abilities.

- Able to efficiently use quotation softwares (EasyCom, potentially Concept Office and in the future Hedberg).
- English proficiency; French and/ or German would be a plus.
- Medium/Advanced Excel knowledge.
- Other Microsoft Office suite, such as: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
