What You Will Be Doing:
- Developing reusable, scalable, and testable automation scripts and tooling for routine and repetitive tasks.
- Writing code for containerizing applications to help the product delivery team.
- Configuring cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and building infrastructure to support products.
- Deployment of applications for various environments (development, quality assurance, staging, production).
- Researching, exploring, and evaluating new and emerging software tools and technologies.
- Building self-service capabilities for developers to write and handle microservices.
- Working regularly with developers and the project team/s for capacity and architecture planning.
- Monitoring applications and system health, responding to alerts and providing metrics as well as identifying and resolving advanced software and infrastructure-related issues and challenges.
- Determining the root cause of issues and initiating corrective actions.
- Applying IT technologies and other dominant technologies in the market to address opportunities or issues of the Company.
- Applying appropriate methodologies to maximize the efficiency and quality of the IT process and minimize cost. He/she will contribute to the enhancement of IT program design & development practices.
- Having end-to-end knowledge of the Company’s business process and how the technology products are impacted.
Who You Are:
- You have experience in the implementation of Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD) into a DevOps pipeline.
- You have a demonstrated ability to collaborate with a large variety of individuals, in a highly collaborative, complex, and changing environment
- You have the knowledge to adopt the right new tools for the job at hand and you can optimize learning for productivity
- You are able to plan and effectively handle tasks in order to achieve objectives as well as work effectively with minimal supervision.
- You have excellent analytical abilities, diagnostic skills, technical capability, and interpersonal skills.
- You have listening skills and a commitment to communicate clearly, completely, and in a timely manner
- You have strong organizational skills: he/she knows how to prioritize upon short notice while maintaining accuracy.
- You have Excellent English skills.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or discipline
- A broad set of knowledge across current and emerging technologies. Steelcase Technology Product modules utilize .NET, .NET Core, C# Java, JavaScript, Python, Golang, Angular, REACT, vue.js, node.js. Supported Operating Systems include Windows, Linux
- Scripting language knowledge: Python, Shellscript, Powershell
- Basic knowledge in Programming: .NET, JavaScript, Node.js
- Continuous Delivery Automation knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as code: Terraform
- Continuous Integration knowledge: Azure DevOps (VSTS), Ansible
- Cloud Architecture knowledge: AWS, Microsoft Azure
