We’d like to invite you to become a member of our Steelcase team. Work for a global leader in one of our inspiring places we’ve ever created. Based in Cluj, Romania this position will focus on supporting Global accounts in EMEA to ensure account / project objectives are met. 

What You Will Be Doing:

Unassigned accounts:

  • Develop account strategy aligned with client objectives and priorities.
  • Develop and maintain client cross functional stakeholder relationships at all levels. 
  • Aligning on response 
  • Identifying and owning project opportunities on accounts, including tender submission, post-delivery, and after-sales requests.
  • Delivering sales target against assigned Accounts. 
  • Maintaining SalesForce accurately – Stakeholders, Forecasting etc

Account Management -Supporting the EMEA GCC business as required with:

  • Deliver tender submission, post-delivery, and after-sales requests
  • Develop the operations plan, including project schedule, and activity list 
  • Navigate internal Steelcase resource and capabilities to best solve our global client needs
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure all requests are responded to in an efficient manner 
  • Co-ordinate with cross-region resources for the required outputs
  • Mock-up co-ordination for GCC clients and opportunities
  • Lessons Learned (share with the broader teams)
  • Close collaboration with GCC team and understanding the objective and priority of work or requests
  • Build and maintain key client relationships to collaborate with impact with multiple influencers and decision makers (A&D, Real Estate, Contractors, Service providers, consultants…)

Who You Are:

We are looking for outstanding team players who not only embody all the hallmarks of a great Account Operations Manager but are also eager to:

  • Lead on designated non-assigned GCC Accounts
  • Provide support, monitor, and work in conjunction with the GAMs
  • Coordinate outputs of project stakeholders to deliver a consistent, positive experience to GCC clients
  • Share key account information and strategic intent with our internal Steelcase teams, to collectively solve for our GCC clients' needs
  • Bridge the gap between our GCC Clients' needs and internal resources, knowledge and processes that exists internally.

Required Skills

  • Self-starter committed to excellence with outstanding organizational and time management skills. Able to operate from broad objectives with minimal direct supervision. Willing to accept responsibility for results. 
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of workplace critical issues. 
  • Project management skills for coordination of large projects using a multi-disciplined team approach.
  • Knowledge of the Steelcase policies, products and services would be an advantage.  
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain key relationships to collaborate with impact with multiple influencers and decision makers.
  • Fluent in English. One other international language would be an advantage
  • Strong personal soft skills such as empathy, listening, mirroring, and communicating in different methods dependent on individual preferences.

Required experience

  • Business/related degree or equivalent experience required. 
  • Requires a minimum of 2+ years’ experience in a B2B sales environment.
