What you will be doing: 

• Collaborate closely with our dealers and customers as well as a wide variety of internal teams (material management, scheduling, factories, logistics, marketing) to ensure on-time & complete delivery of our products according to customer needs. 
• Handle the entire life cycle of an order, production scheduling & order amendments, project delivery planning, logistics, export (respecting custom regulations specific to the assigned markets). 
• Gain early visibility on our customers’ projects to anticipate risk factors that would prevent a good execution and collaborate with relevant internal & external parties to mitigate them, co-create solutions with our business partners and influence outcomes when needed. 
• Actively balance service excellence with cost awareness by making informed decisions & applying critical thinking. 
• Track business important metrics and translate them into valuable insights to drive and promote excellence in our day-to-day activity. 
• Share knowledge and offer coaching in different scenarios: pre-order meetings with sales/dealer, during project execution and delivery planning, train dealers on how to use Steelcase order management tools available for them (when needed), train new team members on order fulfilment processes; 
• Keep a critical eye regarding the processes and raise the issues faced, as well as help identify & implement solutions.

Who you are: 

• A dedicated professional with relevant experience in order management, logistics & exports in manufacturing environments (2-3 years for internal candidates / 4-5 years for external candidates). 
• A good problem solver who can keep commitments and balance multiple tasks simultaneously and independently. 
• A visionary that can work transversely and take timely actions when required to meet objectives of delivering excellence to our customers. 
• A good communicator who can build a strong network within the company and could effectively provide timely support to our dealer & sales network. 
• A positive and active teammate with strong analytical capabilities, that easily deals with ambiguity and navigates complexity. 
• Self-motivated and eager to learn new things. 
• A very good English speaker, second language French or German. 

What to expect: 

In the first 2 months: 

• Get familiarized with our strategy, company mission and values. 
• Follow the dedicated training plan to help you gain process and product knowledge, to set you up for success. 
• Connect with your key customers and colleagues (local and remote). 
• Have markets assigned to you and gain confidence in working independently at the end of the 2nd month. 

In 3-6 months: 

• Start gaining knowledge on how the customers in your assigned markets operate. 
• Meet face to face or virtually with your key internal partners across Europe to understand how we operate our 
• manufacturing, distribution and innovation facilities. 
• Gain more system knowledge and understand our processes at a deeper level. 

In 6-12 months: 

• Build trust with the customers in your assigned markets. 
• Continue to expand your network and impact across the organization. 
• Contribute to team success through continuous improvement initiatives.
