Senior Embedded Engineer

What you'll do

• Develop, optimise and maintain HAL components for systems running Android Automotive OS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features and functionalities.
• Understand and clarify project requirements and specification
• Design and implementation of enterprise level, highly scalable, fault tolerant systems in production quality
• Proactively identifying potential improvements and leading their implementation
• You support the managing of project risk and status identification, tracking and mitigation process
• Mentoring and coaching other members of the embedded team
• Attending client meetings and offering support from the technical perspective

Who you are

• Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in e.g., Computer Science, Mechanical/Electrical engineering or similar
• 5+ years related working experience in embedded programming, coding in C or C++
• Experience with Rust is an added advantage
• Relevant experience with Android or Linux system programming
• Previous background in planning and tracking activities (e.g., performing effort estimations, communicating issues, participating in project meetings with the client)
• Your English skills are excellent (speaking and writing), German would be a plus
• You are a team player, yet very self-driven & you have a responsible working style
• You are motivated, flexible, pro-active, a quick learner and open minded to new idea and feedback
