SAP ABAP Developer

WHAT MAKES YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS ROLE?

• Minimum 5 years of development experience with ABAP
• Extensive and in-depth development knowledge with SAP ABAP and SAP ABAP/OO, gained when working for consulting services companies and safe handling of the ABAP development environment and transportation
• Correct use of implicit/explicit enhancements
• Experience in working with SAP printable forms (Smart Forms)
• Functional experience (process and business) is highly appreciated
• Ability to communicate effectively with both peers and clients
• Advanced German and English knowledge

WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work efficiently in a multi-customer and multi-project environment, balancing between different requirements, priorities, and operating models
• Depending on the customer – switch between 2nd/3rd level support, Change Requests (CRs), and project work (Rollout, Transformation, etc.)
• Implement reports, dynpros, functional modules, and interfaces (EDI, file transfer, RFC, web services)
• Performance improvements of SQL queries
• Developments following S/4HANA coding guidelines
• Organize transport requests with STMS
• Implement BADIs
• Conduct diagnosis and troubleshooting in the standard SAP system and in complex customer-specific developments (e.g. add-ons and workflows) as well as debugging and runtime analysis
• Technical consulting regarding additional developments, interfaces, and modifications
• Improve complex proprietary developments and add-ons according to specifications
• Author and maintain development documentation
