Data Protection Officer

MyData-TRUST, a leading provider of data protection solutions for the Life Sciences industry, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join our team in Mons, Belgium. As a critical member of our multi-disciplinary team, the DPO will play a crucial role in helping our customers achieve compliance with GDPR and EU data protection laws.

Responsibilities:

·       Project management and coordination

·       Customer meetings and consultation

·       Providing expert advice on GDPR implementation

·       Conducting Data Protection Gap Analysis (DPGA) and Impact Assessments (DPIA)

·       Developing and reviewing data protection documents such as policies, procedures, and contracts

·       Investigating and managing data breaches

·       Acting as a point of contact with authorities and data subjects

·       Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in data protection

Qualifications:

·       Certified DPO with at least two years of relevant experience

·       Strong knowledge and experience in the Life Sciences industry

·       Excellent analytical and project management skills

·       Strong interpersonal and communication skills

·       Fluency in English (additional language proficiency a plus)

·       Flexibility and willingness to travel occasionally
