Infrastructure Project Manager

Broadridge Trading and Connectivity Solutions is looking for a motivated Infrastructure Project Manager to join our growing and busy department on a permanent basis. As a member of the Infrastructure Project Management Team, you will be planning, executing and finalizing projects according to schedule and within budget.

The role is split between project management and service delivery, with a lot of emphasis on service delivery. Both internal and external projects have a direct impact on Broadridge’s clients. You will be responsible for project visibility, communicating status to senior technology and business sponsors both internally and externally.

The Infrastructure Delivery team is responsible for connectivity between our clients hosted trading systems, counterparties and various venues. The team works extremely closely with network and systems engineering to deliver a fully connected platform.

Responsibilities:

• Reviewing and understanding the scope of projects and their contractual components

• Liaising with clients, vendors, networks, architects, sales & other teams to ensure project requirements can be delivered and that there is no scope creep during the delivery 

• Acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and providers in order to deliver projects according to plan and within the budget

• Coordinating meetings with internal teams, vendors or clients: fielding their questions, communicating key messages to promote a clear understanding

• Reporting project progress internally and externally

• Anticipating and acting proactively to address issues that may arise

• Gathering and updating project materials

• Quoting clients and raising order forms

Qualifications:

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
• Prince2 or equivalent project management qualification
• Knowledge of data centers and delivering various kinds of connectivity
• Solid understanding of networks, switching & routing. You are not required to configure any equipment
• Good understanding of servers and systems
• Exposure to exchanges and/or market data
• Customer facing with excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Logically inclined, to think outside of the box and be confident to suggest your own or alternative solutions to a problem
• Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment with the desire and ability to learn and adapt quickly
• Ability to deal with ambiguity and be able to clarify for others
• Able to manage time, prioritize and multitask effectively
• Good attention to detail with the ability to question and say ‘no’ where necessary
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a highly collaborative team
