HGV Mechanic

Our client is a well-known service company based in Co. Longford who are currently recruiting for a HGV Mechanic to join their team on a permanent basis. You will ideally possess a national trade certificate in Mechanics and have at least 1 year post qualification experience.

Responsibilities:

Vehicle and plant fault diagnosis

Preventative maintenance and repair of vehicles, plant, and premises

All tasks associated with the mechanical systems, electrical systems, and body systems of vehicles

Operate garage equipment

Grease vehicle lubrication points and change vehicle oils Maintain vehicle batterie

Maintain clean and efficient workshop

Qualification requirements:

National Craft Certificate for the trade of Heavy/light Vehicle Mechanic awarded by SOLAS/Department of Education following the successful completion of a recognised SOLAS apprenticeship OR

Advanced Certificate Craft awarded by FETAC following the successful completion of a recognised SOLAS apprenticeship Driving Licence requirements:

A Valid Category B Irish Driving Licence

Salary:

€40000 per annum Starting and open to discussion
