Full Stack Developer (PHP based)

Responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior PHP Developer, you will play a crucial role in managing and enhancing our PHP application while providing support to our users. You will be responsible for writing PHP, JavaScript, and HTML code to resolve issues, develop new features, and ensure the application's optimal performance. Additionally, you will manage our Postgres database, coordinate with the IT team for server resources, and oversee the CentOS server and Apache services.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the PHP application, addressing user requests and issues promptly.
• Write, debug, and optimize PHP, JavaScript, and HTML code to resolve application issues and enhance its functionality.
• Develop new features and modules for the application, following the MVC architecture.
• Oversee and manage the Postgres database, ensuring data integrity and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the IT team to ensure server permissions and resources are available for the implementation of new features.
• Monitor and manage the CentOS server, regularly checking Apache services and host settings.
• Efficiently manage Cron schedules to automate tasks and processes.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and other relevant tech stacks, leveraging them when beneficial.
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in web development and software design.
• Strong expertise in front-end technologies, including HTML, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Proficiency in PHP and experience with PHP frameworks (Zend experience is a plus).
• In-depth knowledge of MySQL databases, including database design and optimization.
• Solid understanding of MVC architecture and best coding practices.
• Experience in managing and optimizing CentOS servers and Apache services.
• Proven ability to manage and troubleshoot Postgres databases.
• Familiarity with other tech stacks or languages is a valuable asset.
• Proactive attitude and a passion for staying current with industry trends and technologies.
