We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team and play a vital role in the development and maintenance of our software applications. As a Backend Developer, you will work on server-side logic, database management, and application architecture, contributing to the robustness and functionality of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side components and backend systems for our software applications.
- Manage and optimize database systems, ensuring data integrity and performance.
- Create, modify, and maintain database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
- Build and maintain APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend.:
- Integrate third-party services, tools, and data sources into our backend systems as needed.
- Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and prevent security breaches.
- Optimize backend code and database queries for performance and scalability.
- Use version control systems (e.g., Git) to track changes, collaborate with team members, and manage code repositories.
- Create and maintain documentation for backend code and database structures.
- Provide training and support to team members when necessary.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong portfolio demonstrating your backend development work.
- Proficiency in backend technologies, including but not limited to server-side languages (e.g., Python, Java, or Node.js), databases (SQL and NoSQL), and frameworks.
- Experience with API development, integration, and data management.
- Familiarity with version control systems, especially Git.
- Knowledge of data security and protection best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in the German language both spoken and written is a plus.
