Senior .NET Developer

Good news!! We are hiring! We are seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer with 5 years of experience to join our IT Department. 

As a Senior Developer you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing high-quality software solutions using Microsoft.NET framework. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, contribute to technical discussions and mentor junior developers in delivering cutting-edge software applications. In this position, it is essential to possess over strategic thinking and effective decision-making skills in the execution of your day-to-day tasks whilst keeping an eye on your long-term objectives. Given today's rapidly changing tech landscape, being in touch with the team, the organization, and having a powerful vision of the future is crucial. 

Job responsibilities:

·        Design, develop, test and maintain scalable and robust software applications using .NET framework, C#, ASP.NET and related technologies.

·        Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

·        Ensure software quality by writing unit tests and conducting integration testing. 

·        Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to analyze requirements, propose technical solutions and create system architectures that align with business objectives 

·        Collaborate with coworkers to facilitate the creation of large, complex developments, as required.

·        Identify and resolve complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis and implement appropriate solutions.

·        Frequently run upgrades on systems  

·        Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies and best practices in .NET development.

·        Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance the software development process

·        Continuously identify areas for process improvement, automation and optimization

·        Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, assisting them in problem-solving, code optimization and best practices implementation  

Our requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field  
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development, with focus on .NET technologies 
• Proficient in C#, .NET, and SQL Server  
• Excellent knowledge with relational databases, SQL and ORM technologies  
• Experience with web development frameworks (e.g., MVC, Web API), JavaScript, HTML, CSS 
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as Bootstrap, React is a plus 
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure. 
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies & best practices, design patterns and SOLID principles. 
• Detail-oriented: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Fluency in English

• Experience in providing technical guidance and mentoring junior developers  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Self-driven, flexible, and innovative.
