Process Engineer - Packaging

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Designing packaging, palletting systems and conveyors
• Recommending packaging equipment
• Initiating and approving components specifications (primary and secondary packaging components)
• Traveling to the sites to implement changes
• Develop strategies to implement changes to processes
• Interact and cooperate with contract manufacturers to address standard documentation and compliance issues
• Work with material suppliers to resolve technical issues
• Support the development, and participate in the revision, of specifications
• Prepare the required documents
• Interact and cooperate with vendors to develop alternate designs of packaging components and develop relevant actionable specifications
• Take primary role in technical investigations and assessment of deviations related to data generation/gathering and analysis

Responsible for Project from Concept to Completion

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Good English speaking and writing skills
• Advanced Diploma of Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
• Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems, experience in Autodesk Factory Design Suite represents advantage
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Available to travel for business
