Junior Linux System Administrator

Requirements

Professional Experience:
Technical University degree (preferable in IT field);
Minimum 1 year of practical experience in Linux/Unix Systems Administration is a plus;
Operating systems: Linux (Suse, CentOS/ RedHat);
LVM basic knowledge;
Shell scripting: Perl, Python scripting is a plus;
Software package installing: RPM/Yum;
ITIL and system ticketing knowledge – is a plus;
IT Certification – is a plus;
Foreign Languages: Fluent in English (mandatory request);
Social Skills:
Very good communication abilities;
Team spirit;
Availability to short/long delegation;
High sense of priority, works on multiple tasks simultaneously and deliver the expected results within the agreed timelines;
Initiative and fast learning abilities.

Responsibilities

Main responsibilities as follows:

Linux/Unix Servers administration - installation / configuration / monitoring;
Offers 2nd level support for customers;
Collaboration with both local and remote team members (management, development, testing and deployment) to deliver a great product;
