Automation Test Engineer Expert

THE ROLE INVOLVES:

The role is for our  Development Services international/global team. Their vision is to enable development teams to adopt Standardized Platforms, Pipelines and DevX across all teams.

As a member of Development Services team, you will be interacting very closely with product development teams, in different regions across the globe.

Development Services team owns Test Management as a capability & process and is aiming to standardize testing across the organization. This is where you come in!

Responsibilities:

• Adopt, implement, and continuously improve our customer’s test automation strategy and standards.

• Design, build, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks aligned with our customer’s standards.

• Select, implement, and standardize appropriate test automation tools and technologies.

• Lead the rollout and onboarding of test automation tools, frameworks, and standards across product development teams.

• Define and execute an onboarding roadmap for development teams transitioning to new test standards.

• Create and maintain clear documentation, guidelines, and training materials to support teams.

• Provide hands-on support, coaching, and knowledge sharing to ensure successful adoption of automation practices.

• Lead and coordinate the Test Circle, collaborating with development teams, Chapter Leads (CLs), and other stakeholders.

TECHNICAL PLAYGROUND:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as an Automation Test Engineer using different test automation tools.

• Proven experience setting-up Test Management standards and processes.

• Hands-on experience with different types of Testing.

• Relevant experience with Test automation libraries such as Playwright, Junit5, RestAssured etc.

• Experience working with different programming languages (preferred languages TypeScript, Java, Python, command line) and file types (YML, JSON etc.).

• Proven experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab preferred).

NICE TO HAVE:

• Cloud exposure (AWS preferred).

• Awareness of critical concepts in DevOps and Agile principles.

• A demonstrated record of achievement in large technical (migration) projects.

• Ability to keep up with software and cloud development trends and innovation.

• Understanding of financial services and risk management in general.

• Relevant university degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

• Fluent English, with good written and verbal communication skills.
