Android software engineer

Job description

Locations: Brasov, Cluj-Napoca, Tg. Mures, Sibiu (Romania), Sumy (Ukraine)

We are looking for an experienced Android Software Engineer. Together with your colleagues you will ensure that we optimize the user experience on mobile devices and Set Top Boxes for more than 100 million users. Your main activities will be to:

• write well-designed, testable, efficient code
  
• integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• document and maintain software functionality
  
• troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing systems
  

Job requirements

You need

• Experience with
  • remote data via REST and JSON
  • Android Set Top Box development
  • content Provider implementation
• Knowledge in UI/UX and working with designers
• Fluent English skills
  

Any of those will increase your chances

• Certification(s) in relevant fields
• Working experience with
• third party libraries like: Butterknife, Retrofit, Dagger 2, Picasso, Volley
• data persistence
• different types of Android Services
• Agile Development
• Android Studio+ Gradle
