PCBA Process Engineer

SUMMARY

The PCBA Process Engineer develops PCBA manufacturing processes, tooling, procedures, and work instructions to support the manufacturing operations.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Develops PCBA manufacturing procedures and work instructions

·         Defines product specific tooling and fixture requirements to support manufacturing operations

·         Participates in Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen continuous improvement activities

·         Reviews engineering design drawings to ensure a good manufacturability and makes recommendations based on DFM design rules prior to production release

·         Monitors day-to-day production activities and make recommendations to improve efficiency and quality

·         Assists the preventive and corrective maintenance of the equipment in the area of ​​responsibility

QUALIFICATIONS

·         +3 years of electronics manufacturing experience

·         Good knowledge of the PCBA production equipment

·         Understanding of and ability to use metrics and continuous improvement tools (e.g. DPMO, FPY, DPM, Six Sigma, FMEA, etc.)

·         4 year Engineering or Technical degree

·         Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required

·         Available to work in 1 or 2 shifts

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Good knowledge of English language (both spoken and written)
