We’re looking for a seasoned, ambitious, highly structured, highly motivated, self-driven Engineering Process Lead to join our growing team. As a member of our fast-paced group, you will be provided with the unique and rewarding opportunity to be part of our company re-organisational strategy by shaping the future of our upcoming products. Your role will be part of the global Engineering Process team span across all Telenav’s sites (US, EU and China), your work being visible at the highest company structures. 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify strengths and weaknesses of current processes in relativity with the ASPICE requirements, make recommendations for appropriate improvement/alignment based on the gathered data. Ensure the fact that the recommendations are being followed through
  • Define ASPICE compliance assurance plan on designated project(s) while working closely with/guide Telenav’s internal delivery departments (e.g. Project management, Product Management)
  • Ensure process and configuration compliance through the development of comprehensive procedures, work instructions, flowcharts, forms, templates, checklists, worksheets, and other product and process related documentation. Embrace a "Plans are nothing, planning is everything" mindset, permanently balancing the rigidity of the processes and the inherent flexibility required by our clients
  • Accountable for the execution, monitoring and controlling of the defined compliance assurance plan. Ensure the continuous improvement of process effectiveness and efficiency through detailed failure analysis for non-conformity, develops and implements effective and compliant solutions for product or process corrections, retrospective and remediation action plans, and for corrective and preventive actions. Will drive follow-through with specific actions
  • Responsible on establishing a proper framework for properly executing the compliance assurance plan (e.g. tools, templates)
  • Constantly train internal departments into the established structure and reasons behind it. Loop back the received feedback into the plan execution
  • Contribute to the alignment of the departments and processes between all Telenav sites (US, EU, CN)
  • Properly engage senior management relative to review findings and issues to influence necessary change and ensure the adequacy of corrective actions/plans
  • Execute compliance audits at regular intervals of time covering internal departments and specific designated projects. Compiles, analyses, and reports performance/compliance metrics
  • Establish and maintain quality standards providing consistency throughout the product development
  • Work closely with Telenav's QA department in developing quality control gates throughout the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), which includes processes such as software design, coding, source code control/versioning, code reviews, change management, configuration management, release management
  • Provide hands-on lead-by-example direction opposite to a purely theoretical approach (being able to constantly weight the sweet spot between rigidity and responsiveness being a must)
 REQUIREMENTS:
  • 3 or more years in regulatory compliance management, Automotive SPICE and/or CMMI preferred
  • Intensive experience in Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong leadership skills required to provide effective guidance to management and team
  • Comfortable with fast paced schedule driven development
  • Experience in conducting software audits/process compliance checks
  • Experience working with globally distributed teams
  • Excellent cross-functional communication & influence skills
  • Excellent planning & organizing skills
  • Strong analytical & critical thinking
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (once per quarter)
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
  • Automotive industry experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Solid understanding of ITIL
