We are looking for a Buyer with very good experience on the Asian market. Our client is a seller from a niche e-commerce market with a newly opened office in Romania.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of the portfolio in the assigned category.
• Develop and track clear sourcing strategies and timelines to develop the portfolio in a timely manner according to the business plan.
• Build relationships with our manufacturers and all other market stakeholders in manufacturing, QI and product development.
• Independent execution of the portfolio expansion with a clear understanding of collection and delivery obligations.
• Being the Product Genius in our organization for all stakeholders.
• Regularly present well-prepared updates to the executive team, demonstrating progress, addressing challenges and highlight opportunities.
• Calculate and provide a budget requirement for all responsible projects
• Can ensure consistently competitive margin calculations with effective negotiating skills.

Qualifications

• Educational background in fields such as business management, engineering, product management, logistics and supply chain or equivalent.
• At least 3-5 Years of professional experience in a In the same or very similar context.
• Concrete track record of successfully sourced or developed products for the European or American market.
• Experience in working with Asian Quality Management, manufactures and Sourcing Platforms.
• Has an understanding and overview of the entire supply chain of a D2C market.
