Electromechanics for Germany–Full German permanent

We are hiring for the position responsible with implementing customer requirements and system solutions in intralogistics software solutions (with a main focus on KiSoft One WCS solutions but also others from the client software portfolio (redPilot, KiSoft Analytics, SAP EWM ) incl. PLC and hardware and preparing project documents (description, calculation) for the customer or internal departments in accordance with the sales process.

Tasks and roles:

• Development of cost- and performance-optimized system solutions.
• Carrying out requirements and process analyses.
• Support and feedback in the creation of layouts from a holistic process and control perspective.
• Joint overall responsibility with the Solution Design Lead (SDL) as a project member (Software Solution Designer - SDE) or Software Lead (SWL) for the developed system solution.
• Active decision-making for the selection and use of software and control components, if necessary clarification and specification (ZDB) of developments with the specialist departments.
• Quotation calculation for software, PLC and hardware, software implementation scenarios and specification of purchased components (3rd party software & hardware).
• Support of the sales department (Sales Project Lead, Solution Design Lead) in the sales process.
• Customer communication; project clarifications and presentations on site at the customer's premises or in-house. Creation of presentation documents and graphic presentation of project planning results.
• Documentation of the elaborated project documents.
• Know-how carrier and contact person for special topics / products regarding information relevant to project planning.
• Training of new employees; acting as a mentor who is both the first point of contact for new employees and is responsible for their development and management.
• Leading project teams.
• Supporting strategic developments in the product as well as in the methodology.

Technical requirements:

• Technical understanding.
• Knowledge of logistics and understanding of complex processes and interrelationships in our customers' workflows
• Knowledge of typical warehouse processes of a logistics system and weighing up alternatives.
• Basic knowledge of software architecture, programming, databases and data structures as well as PLCs.
• Basic knowledge of mechanics and electrics.
• Good foreign language skills; at least English.
• Nice to have :Spanish, French, Italian.
