Profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering or comparable relevant experience in a related technical field required;
• Minimum two years experience in testing field;
• Troubleshooting and debugging skills;
• Self-confidence and strong communication skills;
• Good English skills necessary.

•  Participate in requirements reviews and assess testability;
• Analyze requirements and generate test cases which thoroughly validate these requirements;
• Responsible for test case design, specification and execution;
• Initiate and hold Reviews of new test cases with stakeholders;
• Maintain existing test scripts, optimize and automate them as possible;
• Adapt existing test scripts to new requirements;
• Responsible to create recordings in vehicle or HiL systems;
• Execution of manual and automated tests, depending on the test plan and release scope;
• Execution of manual and automated tests for development support;
• Validation of the system in vehicle and HIL until ready for series production;
• Handling of Prototype vehicles or vehicles with non-series components on public road and test tracks;
• Valid driver training required – will be done afterwards in case it does not exist;
• Perform results analysis of potential failures, to find patterns and flaws in the system behavior;
• Provide statistical information to developers and test management;
• Report and follow up to defects found in the system;
• Support developers in root cause analysis and bug fixing when needed.
