PROJECT MANAGER

Key Responsibilities of the PM

Main Points of contact for customer interaction.

Attend Kick off Meetings, conference calls, HAZOP, etc.
Customer relationship building
On-time delivery of drawings and documents to customer as per project document list
Management of project change requests
Respond to customers information requests (technical clarification, answer technical comments) and reach consensus
Support for client/3rd party inspectors in Factory Acceptance Tests, Hydrotests, etc at EGS
Internal Activities

Working close with all departments (Sales, Engineering, Purchasing, Production, Quality, Financial, Logistic, Warehouse, Service, etc)
Manages the scope of the projects as described in the contract
Perform P&ID checks
Work closely with PM supervisor, engineering & service department for getting answers to technical queries
Ensure financial obligations are achieved (bank guarantee, payments, etc) and work with financial department for issuing BGs and payments as per contract payment schedule
Monitors the execution of the projects making sure the tracking information is up-to-date (project schedule) and issuing weekly/monthly progress reports as per contract scope
Coordinate shipping and logistics activities, and issuing Packing Lists
Issuing Operation and Maintenance manuals for equipment’s
Gathering documentation to fill the Manufacturing Record Book
Ordering nameplates, tags, signs, logos, etc.
Training

EGS will provide sufficient training for all newly hired Project Managers to help them understand the processes, systems and business model
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Degree Qualified within Oil & Gas or Mechanical Engineering discipline;
Fluency in English / ideally technical English in Oil & Gas
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work closely in a team environment
Professional attitude
Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage;
Ideally from an Engineering/Manufacturing background;
Knowledge of reciprocating compression and screw compression is a plus
