Automation Project Manager Junior

We are currently seeking new talented individuals to join our Danieli Automation Team.

We are looking for project managers with expertise and practical experience in industrial automation. Candidates must be capable of coordinating the entire project flow from the final stage of the commercial negotiations with the customer, through the job development phases, up to plant commissioning. We seek authoritative figures that can relate to internal and external customers, showing a spirit of initiative, flexibility and willingness to travel all over the world (20-30% of the time).

Main Tasks and Key Responsibilities

• Ability to read and interpret sales and/or supply contracts
• Ability to plan and schedule job activities, focusing on timeframes, costs and quality
• Risk assessment, recovery plans, claims management
• Coordinating with the various teams and subsidiaries involved in job progress (Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Assembly)
• Shipping supervision and responsibility for the job order income statement
• Coordination of site work up to the startup of the plant
• Customer relations and satisfaction

Experience and Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Electronical, Electrical, Electrotechnical, Management)
• Previous experience as PM in the industrial automation field it is extremely appreciated.
• Previous experience in drawing up of risk assessments, contracts and contract budgets it is appreciated.
• Previous experience in relations with external customers it is appreciated.
• The candidate will preferably have knowledge of claims management processes.
• The candidate will preferably have PMP certification.
