The job 

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Service Technician to join our team. As a Electrical Service Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing electrical equipment and systems in a variety of settings, including industrial environments both on- and offshore. Your main goal will be to ensure that electrical systems are functioning efficiently and safely. 

Also, you will work with skilled and competent colleagues globally. Besides this, your areas of responsibility will be: 

·         Conduct routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.

·         Diagnose electrical malfunctions and perform necessary repairs or replacements. 

·         Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical wiring, fixtures, and control devices. 

·         Collaborate with teams across the organization, both project managers, team leads and customers on site. 

·         Follow safety protocols and adhere to electrical codes and regulations. 

·         Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job. 

·         Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology. 

Your profile 

·         Industrial electrician, and have proven experience as a service technician. 

·         Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program or relevant vocational training. 

·         Valid electrician's license/certification (if required in your jurisdiction).

·         Proven experience as an electrician or service technician, preferably in a similar role. 

·         Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and wiring diagrams.

·         Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations. 

·         Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. 

·         Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team. 

Excellent communication and customer service skills. 
 With your profile, structure and working systematically is important for you – but you still have a creative mind and are brilliant at getting new ideas and understand how to convert your ideas into sustainable solutions that work in the real world. As some of your colleagues will be located in other countries, you have experience with dealing with employees of different nationalities and cultures. 

Additional Information: 

·         This is a full-time position with the possibility of overtime and on-call duties 

·         30-100 travel days per year 

·         Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required
