Business Unit Decanters, Engineering & Supply delivers projects based on membrane separation technology, to customers in a wide range of industries including food, biotech, and pharma. We are in rapid growth and looking for more Project Managers to join our team.

About the job

The E&S group consists of commercial and technical project managers, 3D designers, automation engineers and colleagues in the workshop. The department works with cost estimation, design, manufacture, and commissioning of membrane filtration systems. As Project Manager you will be responsible for contact with customers and with the Alfa Laval sales, technical and commercial project management as well as organizing and managing your project team to ensure the success of your projects.

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage projects and contracts from bid phase to final hand-over to customer, delivering on costs, time, and quality.

• Review cost estimates and quotes and develop and comply with project budgets.

• Develop and manage project time- and resource schedules.

• Communicating with Alfa Laval internal customers and external suppliers.

• Manage variations and change orders.

What you know

You are an experienced project manager with an engineering degree or similar technical background, with the ability to manage contracts in an international environment is required. Your experience within project management, could be technical or commercial.

Furthermore, you have:

• Experience within fluid systems, from the food or pharma industry

• Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Engineering Practices (GEP) and relevant industry standards and regulations, e.g., ISO, ASME, sanitary etc.

• The ability to manage projects from conception to completion, including scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with cross-functional and international teams and stakeholders.

The job is based in Søborg, Copenhagen, or from our Nakskov office if needed. There will be 30-60 travelling days a year globally.
