The NPM Processes & Systems Specialist is responsible to support the overall Purchasing & Internal Stakeholder experiences of the globally utilized NPM tools through implementing, and maintaining best in class offerings while driving standardization, increasing efficiency and operational automation potential (responsible for supporting/coordinating topics Globally).
Core Responsibilities:
Support and Processes (shared):
- Responsible for the ongoing support of the VTOS – ordering system.
- Responsible for the NPM processes documentation
- Responsibility for the rollout to new locations and maintenance for existing users/locations of the global NPM purchasing platforms (e.g. VTOS, Catalogs, RPA)
- Ensure appropriate user support with respective support organization
- Run projects for system improvements, enhancements and rollout to new locations
- Provide user trainings (recurring and ad-hoc) to promote the proper ordering channels, use of catalogs, and overall policy guidance
Department Strategy (shared):
- Support the alignment of priorities and directions with purchasing management and cross functional management (e.g. Finance, IT)
- Advise Purchasing community regarding Business Processes supporting Systems
Processes, Efficiency, & Automation (shared):
- Educate on defined and aligned global processes
- Process analysis, improvement, standardization and implementation
- Documentation, approval, maintenance of processes according to company rules (e.g. policies, work instructions, etc.)
- Spread strategy and roadmap for automation increase within NPM Purchasing
- Advise, from systems perspective, toward implementation of efficiency measures and automation (e.g. RPA, catalog management, process management)
Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Academic degree in business administration, engineering or comparable qualification
- 3 years’ experience in Purchasing, Purchasing Systems, or IT
- Experience in project management and process, systems & tools implementation
- English language skills written and spoken
Preferred Qualifications:
- Good negotiation, persuasion and diplomatic skills
- Second language fluently written and spoken
- Advanced analytics skills
- Legal know-how (purchasing, supply chain)
