Key responsabilities

  • Develop new processes, and evaluate and optimize existing processes to improve quality, productivity, and equipment efficiency.
  • Collect and analyze process data to identify areas for improvement, enhance process capability, and drive cost reduction.
  • Create and maintain accurate process documentation, such as process sheets, operator instructions, and quality checklists, ensuring clarity for all employees.
  • Coordinate and provide engineering support for new program launches.
  • Work closely with design engineering, sales, marketing, and other cross-functional teams to improve product designs and support new product development.
  • Provide technical support and training to process technicians and manufacturing staff.
  • Oversee and manage projects, including timelines, budgets, and risks, and coordinate the efforts of engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
  • Establish and monitor standards to ensure the quality of both products and processes.

Skills & Qualifications required:

  • Strong understanding of engineering principles, process modeling, and machinery.
  • Ability to analyze complex systems, identify issues, and develop solutions.
  • Proficiency in gathering and interpreting data, and performing calculations to optimize processes.
  • Ability to plan, execute, and monitor projects effectively.
  • Skill in collaborating with teams and presenting information to management.

Work Environment:
Typically will work indoors in manufacturing areas and also office settings for documentation.
This role involves also often travels to Italy manufacturing Plant, at least once per month for a period of aproximetly 6 months, so the potential candidate needs to be available for travels for business purpose.
