3D Graphics Pipeline Automation Intern

We are hiring a 3D Graphics Pipeline Automation Intern to join our innovative team!

• Location: Cluj-Napoca
• Way of working: primarily onsite
• Duration: 3 months, with the possibility to extend for another 3 months; 6 hours/day
• Deadline for applications: April 21
• Approximate start date: July 7

This is a fantastic opportunity for students passionate about tech art, automation, and scripting in digital content creation. You'll be working with a talented team dedicated to achieving excellence in every project.

Who You Are: You are a tech-savvy individual with a passion for automation and digital content creation. You have a strong foundation in Python programming and a keen interest in enhancing 3D product graphics workflows. Your curiosity and problem-solving skills drive you to find efficient solutions and streamline processes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Advanced level of English, both spoken and written.
• Experience creating automation scripts for Adobe products.
• Please include a portfolio showcasing functional automation scripts, preferably for 3D related software.

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Knowledge of JavaScript, VBScript, and basic understanding of Substance Designer GLSL.
• Experience with WebGL and working with 3D on the web.
• Familiarity with Three.js shaders for material visualization improvements.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Enhance the efficiency of the 3D Product Graphics creation pipeline.
• Focus on the Digital Material Creation (DMC) workflow, digitizing physical material samples into high-quality PBR (physically based rendering) materials.
• Research and understand internal processes to develop automation scripts for 2D and 3D art environments like Substance Designer, Marmoset, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Collaborate with the team to streamline workflows and improve material visualization.
• Explore and implement new technologies to support digital content creation.
