What You Will Be Doing:

• We are looking for a passionate Graphic Designer to join our Cluj Steelcase team to help us create meaningful graphic solutions for our most important customers and strategic projects. You will be part of a collaborative EMEA team, working with Workplace Designers, 3D Visualizers, Design Consultants and the Sales department.
• The main scope will be to offer support to the Steelcase Sales Teams in creating customized presentations, catalogues, banners, mock-up materials or any additional visual support for client requests.
• You will also work on projects on brand development, advertising campaigns, strategic communications, marketing, and event material.
• You will support customers, providing graphic solutions with minimal direct supervision.
• You will also be able to demonstrate strong creative skills working within brand guidelines.
• You will use and update brand-approved templates (Purposeful Clients Presentation Template-PCR), and assist with presentation touch-ups and brand consistency check-ups in visual communications.
• You will participate in client meetings and should be comfortable presenting ideas and designs.
• You will work in a team with 4 talented Graphic Designers in collaboration with the Workplace Design (Interior Designers) team and offer support to create meaningful presentations that respond to our clients' needs

Your Future Team:

The Graphic Design Team is based in Cluj-Napoca and is part of the EMEA Design Team. You will be working closely with the Sales teams, Proposal Coordinators, Interior Design and Design Consultants team. 

Your team coordinates the creation and delivery of communication materials tailored for each Steelcase customer. The work includes digital presentations which persuade customers from various fields and their consultants (architects, interior designers, facility management firms, procurement management firms) to do business with Steelcase. 

The team provides information about Steelcase through adapted presentations, product information support, customized graphics, product reviews, on-site pilots and clients catalogues.

Who You Are:

• We are looking for a creative communication designer, someone able to understand a client brief, that is confident to present concepts to colleagues or clients, someone that with has a strong creative vision and the skills to bring that vision to life.
• Excellent knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint and other appropriate mediums to produce creative and innovative graphic designs.
• Basic HTML, WordPress or Web Design knowledge will be a plus but not necessary.
• Experience in User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) will be a huge plus.
• Excellent communication and team working skills to facilitate working with the creative team.
• Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
• Strong aesthetic, knowledge of typography and layout principles.
• Customer support skills, with proven organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to provide appealing graphic design solutions that are cutting edge with current trends as well as effective in responding to customer requirements.
• Ability to multi-task and work with multiple projects simultaneously with tight deadlines.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate in a team setting as well as individually.
• Understanding of the various digital and conventional printing processes.
• Fluent in English.
• German or French will be a great plus.
• Must have a portfolio to show your work, projects from university etc.
