Product Graphics Analyst (Digital Material Creation)

What You Will Be Doing:

• Produce high-quality PBR materials/textures for use in 2D, 3D and augmented reality environments.
• Use the internal material library efficiently in order to meet project requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate within your global team to ensure appropriate quality of material samples and captures.
• Work across teams to ensure proper display of materials on 3D models.
• Make various modifications (e.g., image resizing, color adjustments etc.) to textures for multiple downstream uses.
• Answer on incidents as support for materials.
• Identify and support process improvement.

Your Future Team:

Our Product Graphics team from Cluj-Napoca is part of the Product Launch & Support group from within Steelcase IT. This group provides Steelcase customers, dealers, A&D community and employees with high-quality data, graphics, technology and process to support the development and fulfillment of products anywhere in the world. In Cluj-Napoca, we focus on graphics that support multiple internal and external customers.

We are currently looking to enlarge our 3D Digital Material Creation team, to better support the creation of 3D surface materials used in various applications like Product Configurators, Pricing Tools, Dynamic Visualizations, VR and others. This requires product understanding and 3D material creation knowledge.

Who You Are:

• You have a good artistic sensibility, knowledge of light behavior, and demonstrated computer graphics proficiency.
• You have a good ability to accept feedback, adapt to change, and regularly monitor the quality of work.
• You are detail-focused with an eye toward accuracy and consistency.

Qualifications:

• Three-year (or greater) degree in a related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• Very good command of English.
• Experience with PBR (Physically Based Rendering) material creation using Adobe Substance Designer, Photoshop and/or Lightroom.
• Experience working with 3D modeling, rendering, texturing and UV mapping.
• Experience with Substance Painter and Sampler is a plus.
• Experience with 3Ds Max is a plus.
• Must have a portfolio to show your work, projects from university etc.
