IC Test Designer Engineer

As an IC Test Designer Engineer you will be a part of a test development team for latest generation of Integrated Circuits, using the Advantest V93000 automated testing machine. 

Job requirements

·        Desirable candidates have a BS degree in Computer Science/Applied Electronics

·        Good understanding of electronic components and circuits

·        Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (C++)

·        Good debugging skills

·        Fluency in verbal and written English

Nice to have

·        Knowledge of standard lab characterization equipment

·        Experience designing electronic circuits

·        Experience with Eclipse IDE

·        Familiar with PCB power supply decoupling techniques, shielding and design of controlled impedance traces

·        Understanding of PCB design techniques for high speed and high performance designs

Expected tasks 

·        Define and develop test concepts from a very early design stage to ensure IC testability, in cooperation with customer's design and supply team

·        Develop test programs and test hardware for testing IC's in mass production on wafer and/or package level

·        Ability to modify and update automated characterization plan based on inputs from designers

·        Develop of test software for Advantest Automatic Test Equipment using high level programming languages

·        Ability to develop characterization plan based on inputs from designers and customers 

·        Design of test boards with test interface circuits

·        Capture, analyze and present characterization data using Excel
