Software Engineer for Configuration Management tools

General Information:

We are looking for an experienced SW Engineer with deep understanding in Configuration Management tools.You will be responsible for application development and for Configuration management tools like Github, Polarion, Artifactory and will directly contribute to the efficiency increase of tools and processes.  
 

Your Key Responsibilities:

Software Application Development:

• Design and implement client and web applications.
• Conduct requirement analysis, effort estimation, and risk assessment.
• Document solutions, manage rollout, and conduct user training.
• Administer and maintain SQL databases.
• Maintain and improve the integration between tools and ensure traceability.
   

Responsible for maintenance and support for Configuration Management tools:

• Maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot existing applications developed in various programming languages.
• Deployment and maintenance of tools infrastructure e.g. servers configuration & administration.
• Ensure operational stability and performance of configuration management tool solutions.
• Handle helpdesk tickets and provide technical user support.
• Analyze and resolve incidents and perform regular maintenance tasks.
• Document changes and support processes.
   
  
  

Artificial Intelligence (AI)

• Support and implement AI solutions in existing and new systems.
• Customize and integrate AI modules into various IT environments.
• Evaluate new technologies and their applicability in the business context.

Customer Interaction and International Collaboration

• Gather and analyze requirements from internal customers.
• Advise and train users across various departments.
• Collaborate closely with international project teams and stakeholders.
• Fluent communication in English (spoken and written) is essential. 

Your Qualifications:

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or equivalent qualification.
• Several years of experience in full stack development and application support.
• Strong knowledge of modern web technologies (e.g., Angular, React, Vue.js) and backend frameworks (e.g., .NET, Node.js, Java).
• Experience in database design and administration (SQL, optionally NoSQL).
• Deep understanding of legacy systems and their maintenance or high motivation to step into legacy environments.
• Experience with AI technologies and their integration.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, conceptual skills and communication skills.
• Ability to conduct training and provide user support.
• Independent and structured working style.
• Willingness to work in a team within an international organization.
• Excellent English skills (spoken and written) for international collaboration.
