General Information:
This is a unique opportunity for a Test Manager role. You’ll be hands-on with test automation and manual testing, while also leading a testing team, shaping our QA processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional product quality.
The Role is available for 2 years (limited contract).
Working type: hybrid (Iasi office – 3 days/week).
Your Key Responsibilities
- Plan, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for power electronic systems.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the test engineering team during the 2-year assignment.
- Oversee development and implementation of both manual and automated test procedures.
- Follow and enforce quality standards in accordance with the internal processes and organizational test practices.
- Define and monitor test coverage, test progress and quality metrics, and report this to upper management.
- Collaborate with hardware, system and software engineers, safety managers to ensure requirement traceability and comprehensive system validation.
- Drive defect finding, tracking, and resolution throughout the product lifecycle.
- Document and improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Ensure compliance with relevant international standards (e.g., IEC, ISO).
Your Qualifications
Must have:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in system and/or software testing in a technical field.
- Practical knowledge of power electronics or embedded systems.
- Experience designing, planning, and executing tests at system and software levels.
- Previous experience in coordinating a team from a technical perspective.
- ASPICE knowledge for SWE4-SWE6, SYS4-SYS5 areas.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Nice to have:
- Test management certification (e.g., ISTQB Advanced).
- Familiarity with safety-critical development processes.
- Prior experience in the power electronics industry.
- Knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
