● Engineering Degree in Aerospace or comparable,
● Fundamental understading of metal / composite and hybrid design principles and best practices
● Fundamental understading of manufacturing and assembly including tolerance principles
● Project management fundamentals
● Toolset experience preferred: PASS SSCI, CATIA v5, PM, APS, ICC-ACP, Google Workspace
● Fluent English and / or German,
● “Hands-on” mentality,
● Open and curious mindset,
● Experience in agile way of working,
● Experience in the field of Digitalization and Automation,
● A team player, resilient and responsible, with a structured, independent and analytical way of working
● Willing to travel for work
● Develop the design of metallic / composite / hybrid components and assemblies that are optimized in terms of weight, cost, performance and production / assembly
● Evaluate design changes and estimated the implementation effort
● Check adherence to airworthiness regulations, relevant design principles, processes, methods and manufacturing capability guidelines
● Perform monitoring and support of engineering sub-contracting companies
● Support End-2-End Configuration Items and associated Design Solution from conceptual studies to check and release the definition dossier until MOD closure
● Propose and implement own improvements and innovations in the field of digitalization and automation
● Communicate with different interface partners (e.g. structural analysis, production, program, project, configuration, systems) and agree on the best solution
