Senior Angular Frontend Developer

Miele Tehnica is a subsidiary of Miele & Cie. KG, Germany. We produce electronic components for a wide range of Miele appliances, such as washing machines, tumble dryers, vacuum cleaners, ovens and others. The products Miele offers to its customers set the standards for durability, performance, ease of use, energy efficiency, design and service products.

We are looking for an experienced Frontend Developer, highly passionate about developing performant, consistent and delightful web experiences. Joining one of our DevOps teams you’ll help us building and operating an innovative digital product for Miele professional customers.

Responsibilities:

• Technical conception and implementation of responsive web applications in Angular
• Involvement in creating a cross-application component UI library
• Definition and implementation of automated tests
• Performance of code reviews
• Further development and conception of existing frontend architectures
• Close cooperation with UX experts, designers and backend developers in interdisciplinary teams
• International cooperation with other DevOps teams

Must have:

• At least 5 years of experience in developing web applications with HTML5, (S)CSS and JavaScript/Type Script
• At least 2 years of experience using Angular 8 or something similar (React, VueJS)
• Knowledge in the creation of unit tests (Jest, Marble-Testing)
• Secure handling in responsive web design
• Experience in connecting service interfaces with REST
• Experience and affinity for agile software development
• Fluent English

Nice to have:

• Good understanding of build processes in GitLab, of testing concepts using Cucumber and Selenium

· Knowledge of Docker and Nginx

• Experience in monitoring solutions (Grafana, DataDog, Kibana)
• Experience with third-party component libraries (UI Bootstrap, Material Design UI)

Education:

• Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Electronic/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
