Functional Objectives:
Accurate Financial Data Consolidation: Perform the consolidation of financial data from various subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
Timely Reporting: Ensure timely preparation of consolidated financial reports.
Reconciliation and Integrity: Maintain the integrity of financial data through thorough reconciliation and analysis.
Process Efficiency: Contribute to improving the efficiency of the consolidation process.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Data Compilation: Gather financial data from different subsidiaries and business units for consolidation.
Preparing Consolidated Reports: Prepare consolidated financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Intercompany Reconciliations: Perform reconciliations of intercompany accounts and transactions.
Compliance with Accounting Standards: Ensure all consolidated reporting complies with Group GAAP.
Variance Analysis: Analyze variances in consolidated reports and provide explanations for significant discrepancies.
Support during Audits: Assist in providing data and reports during internal and external audits.
Collaboration with Finance Teams: Work closely with finance teams in subsidiaries to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting.
Utilizing Consolidation Software: Efficiently use financial consolidation software to process and report financial data.
Requirements:
Education: University degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting.
Professional skills: relevant experience in Financial Consolidation area, Safe handling of accounting processes in SAP FI/ SAP Consolidation Systems, German language skills (basic knowledge or willingness to learn German); Microsoft office advanced (especially Excel);
Personality: High communication skills and strong team spirit. Positive attitude to work as a business service partner. Willingness to work in an international environment.
