Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with product development background (mechanics/ electronics/software) who will lead the projects developed internally in our R&D Center in Cluj. The Project Manager will be responsible for initiating, executing, monitoring-controlling and closing the projects. The role involves coordinating the projects across multiple teams that may have a stake in the technical project, managing the master plan, assuring the project meets the targets and liaising with technical stakeholders to ensure the project stays on track. For this purpose, we need a project manager who understands Hardware, Mechanics, Embedded Software and product development.

Responsibilities

•        Manage and coordinate the ongoing development of projects in order to achieve the defined scope, quality within the budget.  Continuously process improvement is in high focus. Collaboration with the Project Management Team developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, and resource technical allocations to meet the objectives.
•        Lead Cross Functional Team in support of project milestones fulfillment.
•        Analyze and understand the technical needs of each project.
•        Support and coordinate product requirements definition.
•        Facilitate team collaboration and knowledge sharing.
•        Facilitate activity planning and communication with other project managers and team leaders.
•        Reporting and continuous communication with the stakeholders and steering committee.
•        Perform risk management to anticipate and minimize or avoid project risks. Define preventive or corrective actions.
•        Perform change management. Track, analyze and implement change requests.
•        Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques. Define success criteria and KPIs.
•        Facilitate the project documentation transfer for production and initiate the series manufacturing stage.
•        Identify gaps in processes and make recommendations on tools and systems to improve operations.
•       Evaluate and assess the results.

Requirements

•       Technical educational background.
•        Previous technical experience in engineering/product development.
•       Minimum 4 years in a similar role.
•       Mechanics, electronics, electrochemistry, embedded software knowledge is an advantage.
•        Nice to have Agile frame work knowledge.
