Purchasing Specialist with German

The jobholder will be part of the Capex Team, supporting specific procurement activities for machinery, spare parts and services.

The global purchasing volume for Team Capex is currently active on 24 global locations, with an initial focus on Europe with approx. €3 million volume / year.

Responsibilities:

• Operational procurement of capital goods, manufacturer-specific spare parts and technical services (CAPEX) for production sites from Europe;
• Ordering activity based on ERP requisitions;
• Execution of the ordering process in the SAP ERP system;
• Ensuring order processing up to invoicing;
• Verifying the invoices and releasing them if necessary;
• Cooperation with suppliers, supplier evaluation and risk management;
• Request for quotation and supplier analysis;
• Drafting and concluding contracts, including negotiation of prices, terms of payment and delivery, warranty and guarantees;
• Clarification of emerging commercial, technical and legal issues;
• Creation and maintenance of purchasing master data.

Qualifications:

• Commercial education background with technical interest and professional experience in an industrial company;
• Experience in purchasing / procurement;
• Negotiation skills in German and English and intercultural skills;
• Fluent in German and English;
• Good SAP and very good MS Office knowledge;
• Independent and self-reliant person;
• Good communication and team player;
• Willingness to travel.
