Business Intelligence and Applications Lead

As the Business Intelligence and Applications Lead, you will own the creation, development, implementation, and measurement of consistent reporting, to offer business analytical support and application development for the Customer Service and Sales teams, with all its functions. You will also be able to help monthly with key data preparation, and quantitative and qualitative reports consolidation and you will implement process development/continuous improvement initiatives.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • To develop centralized support frameworks, application workflows, and data intelligence views by using the latest technology and software to serve the purpose of generating accurate, insightful, actionable data and visual dashboards for sales, customer care, and operations teams.
  • To get involved in process improvement and automation initiatives, take ownership of action plans, and work alongside the Customer Care Management, Outside Sales, Perfect Execution teams, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • To coordinate, onboard, and instruct a small team of business analysts, and application specialists to develop and deliver monthly reporting and dashboards, by merging various technologies and visual management techniques to present analytics and important metrics needed for the organization.
  • To develop customer interfacing views into their specific system data, serving to properly handle and get results out of the usage of Emerson solutions and to provide BI reporting solutions for a more efficient and automatized process of quality monitoring.
  • To be part of the development of business improvement plans, to understand and create workflows, methodologies, and/or new infrastructure for sales, customer care, and operations activities to highlight organizational efficiency and to assist in the development of budgeting, forecasting, and other planning processes.
  • To act as a point of contact for European Reporting Systems, lead data extraction, and validate the integrity of databases used in various reporting.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • University degree in Economics, Finance, or Engineering with experience in Business Administration/Analysis.
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in running data, designing reports, and business analysis.
  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), and SQL databases.
  • Computer literate (MS Office);
  • Proficient in English.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Good understanding of Customer Care, Operations, and Sales methodologies.
  • Leading change and coordinating others to achieve results.
  • Financial / Business Systems knowledge is a plus.
  • Programming skills are a plus.
  • Experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Good Communication and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate Analytical thinking, drive for results, and very good organizing skills.
  • Customer orientation and creativity is an asset for this position.
