Systems and Operations Manager

As our System and Operations Manager, you will contribute to all aspects of the delivery of the European System Operations Group. The development and implementation of the Finance Operations Group strategy and solutions. Maintain close business relationships with the Finance leaders, Sites, WA, BU, Support Services (including Finance SSC, CFS, Tax group, etc), as well as the other teams in the European IT, Sales, and Finance & Operations groups.

In this role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• The Group covers all the Finance activity (Sales, Order Management, AR, AP, Purchasing, Collections & Risk, Invoicing, Project Accounting, and Payments)
• Play an active part in the leadership of Finance Group (Lead team members to ensure consistent outstanding service levels, Develop and support the teams as needed, and Ensure all team members perform to a high level of quality and ethical standard)
• Offer support in strategies, and deliver key value projects to help drive the business strategy and results
• Support Finance Operations Leadership with successful planning
• Work with the leadership groups to raise and agree on projects and initiatives
• Supervise the effectiveness and efficiency of the solutions
• Provide clear updates for leadership on the approaches taken and demonstrate the value brought from the initiatives
• Support the migration to Oracle
• Work with all areas of the business to ensure that systems are appropriate for users' needs and consistent with the business approach and standards
• Preparing and maintaining documentation for the group's responsibilities and actions, along with guides for system users
• Preparing process flows, models, and procedures and conducting feasibility studies to craft possible system solutions
• Identify potential Finance Operations Group projects/initiatives in Europe
• Lead-identified European optimization projects:  
  • Engage subject matter experts within the group to capture input
  • Champion and introduce the new process to the business 
  • Produce flows, documentation, and training material to support the process

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Educated to the relevant level.  Higher preferred
• Strong solid understanding and experience within the finance arena
• Proven project delivery experience including programs in a multi-BU European organization
• Experience in building and maintaining relationships across all levels 
• A good understanding of Oracle – both ERP product and overall company
• Appropriate levels of experience supporting and encouraging others 
• An understanding of business strategies, systems, as well as project management methodology
• English: advanced, required
• Being proficient in Microsoft Office
