We are looking for a Logistics Analyst, to join our Supply Chain Optimization team!

As a Logistics Analyst you will provide support Oracle Transportation Management data and processes while working close with the Program teams and Mode teams. You will be responsible for understanding key business processes and the systems solutions supporting them, the development and maintenance of metrics supporting the SCO program and the associated transportation modes, the management of data needed for program on-boarding and daily operations and solve daily operational issues and responding appropriately.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Developing reports, metrics, and other solutions needed to manage Supply Chain Optimization program and reporting them weekly. You will handle also the Global and European leakage reports all modes of transport.
  • Accurately setting up and maintaining the master data such as locations, carriers, rates, user accounts and system passwords requested by internal and external Emerson users in a timely manner.
  • Perform configuration and programming set-up to trouble shoot issues. Oracle Transportation Management Tool Master Data Updates.
  • Support ongoing program improvements and OTM User Acceptance Tests
  • Manage the Program Operations Help Desk and provide frequent logistics support, trainings and problem resolution for Emerson users, and provide support to the European suppliers.
  • Manage Air Spot Bids setup and configuration in Ariba, Ariba reporting tool.
  • Work on cost reduction database projects, and identify cost savings opportunities, such as route guide optimization, order consolidation, lead time compliance.
  • Be responsible for running and improving Logistics Key Performance Indicators reporting.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Minimum 1 year of information systems experience or closely related business management experience.
  • Understanding of basic concepts of supply chain, logistics, or transportation terminology and processes.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in multi-disciplinary teams and interact with staff across a globally diverse business.
  • Good interpersonal communication skills: comfortable working across multiple functional areas and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Supply chain; logistics; or transportation proven experience highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  •  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field will be a plus.
  •  Familiarity with transportation managements systems (TMS); electronic data interchange technologies (EDI, XML).
  • Good project management skills.
