We are looking for a Project Coordinator, who will have the overall responsibility and authority for the implementation and execution of medium complex projects. The Project Coordinator supports the European countries in driving their projects according the PMO processes and work in a close manner with the Project team and European Factories. 

Will be responsible for the entire process from order reconciliation phase until cash collection. This includes having a complete understanding of the project scope and requirements while also having ownership for timely delivery and profitability. 

 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

 

  • Lead or support PM in Customer Kickoff meetings to ensure alignment between Emerson and Customer on all aspects of the project
  • Coordinate Pre-Inspection meetings with the Customer’s Inspector and achieve clarity to the inspection requirements and process. 
  • Make sure the Project requirements are communicated and properly understood by the factory team members
  • Develops manufacturing landmark execution plan and Inspection Test Plan (ITP)
  • Coordinates all the factory actions related to the given project
  • Liaise with Production Planning, Buyers, Suppliers, Quality and Logistics teams to keep the project on-time 
  • Monitor project progress and execution to meet the promised date.
  • Evaluate and Implement the changes, as required by change order process.
  • Provides regular and timely progress reports to the Project Manager / Customer / Sales Office and highlights any deviation compared to the original plan. 
  • Prepares the inspections and shipping schedules, ensuring the project is shipped on time to the Customer request.
  • Work closely with Documentation Controller to ensure timely approval of Project relevant documents
  • Manages the Customer or its representative during visits at factory site.
  • At the time of project closing, summarizes all learning points, makes suggestions and supports continuous improvement programs. Shares Project Lesson Learning Points with internal team if applicable.
  • Lead Internal Kickoff meetings to provide clarity and resolve any open issues in the Execution Plan

For This Role, You Will Need:

 

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Business or similar
  • Project Management experience strongly preferred
  • Fluent English language skills; verbal, reading and writing

  • Working experience in manufacturing operations is a plus
  • Possess good, assertive communication skills and interpersonal skills to connect with people at all levels.
