In this position you will be responsible for evaluating existing processes and configuring manufacturing systems to improve safety, reduce cost, increase production velocity, and develop best practices within the production process. This is a key technical role responsible for the implementation and stabilization of all manufacturing processes.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Developing safe manufacturing processes by studying product requirements, researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; interfacing with equipment suppliers
  • Maintaining reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers
  • Developing methods to meet product requirements while developing training and evaluation guideline for assembly technicians
  • Preparing product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information
  • Working with QA, Materials, and Design Engineering to disposition discrepant parts and assemblies, assigning causes, and initiating corrective actions
  • Keeping equipment operational by coordinating maintenance and repair services, following manufacturer's instructions and established procedures
  • Researching and creating new methods of manufacturing processes and make recommendations to achieve maximum production capacity and efficiency

Who You Are:

You display a can-do attitude in good and bad times. You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations and you persist in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • University degree in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in providing engineering support in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficient in English language (spoken and written)
  • Knowledge about MS Office package

 

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Experience in implementing and supporting Lean Manufacturing practices and using calibration equipment
