Internship Proposal Engineer

We are looking for a Proposal Engineer Intern to join the proposals team and learn about the basics on analytical systems (Liquid and Gas applications).

As a MSS Proposal Engineer Intern you will provide support on proposals, prepare basic price offers, learn new solutions/technologies through continuous engagement on request for proposals from internal and external customers.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Accumulate and continuously update knowledge about the division and the products offered, understand and learn the proposal tools (cost calculation, templates, etc.) and the local/global org.
• Becoming familiar with the EMR analytical product portfolio and engineering "language" like chemical compatibility, heating, cooling, lag time, power load, wake frequency, etc.
• Ask for configuration and prices for EMR and buyouts analyzer, as well as prepare and deliver basic analytical systems proposals under the supervision of a more expert proposal engineer.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects, Proposal Engineers, Sales Lead, BDMs, Execution Team, suppliers, and customers.
• Complete clarity, WFH, Win/Loss database and CRM accurately and in a timely manner.
• Learn and understand minimum and basic applications SWAS, Aspirator, CEMS of the analytical systems.
• Learn, understand and use existing database of implemented projects, price lists, suppliers and agreements for day-to-day activities.
• Monitor and expedite requests for offers from suppliers required for MSS basic applications.
• Work closely with the assigned buddy and participate in proposal kick-off meetings.
• Follow the accurate working methods, procedures, tools.

For this Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry, Process Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or similar fields
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Proficiency in English, written and verbal
• Ability to self-organize
