In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Work closely as a member of the WAN Service Engineering team on the development of the Emerson WAN service.
• Work as a member of specific project teams on the integration of acquired entities into the Emerson network as required.
• Conduct lab testing and complete detailed transition plan including details of changes, risks and rollback plan for integration activity.
• Design, stage, configure, implement and support specific WAN changes and upgrades as required.
• Evaluate specific engineering requirements and design, test, document an optimal solution that can be operated in a globally consistent manner
• Engage vendor sales and technical contacts as required for knowledge and development of WAN solutions.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. Alternatively, commensurate work experience in lieu of degree.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant networking experience with technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto or FortiGate.
• Switching, routing and TCP/IP knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal English language skills.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

• Experience designing and implementing highly resilient networks
• Cisco networking hardware configuration 
• Segmentation solutions using Cisco hardware.
