Indirect Procurement Buyer with Italian

In this position you will be accountable for issuing orders to suppliers and handling them according to delivery dates and according to the requirements, for the accurate supply of the indirect materials for the linear development of the production activity. In coordination with the Indirect Procurement Team, you will take care of the purchasing processes such as: attributing to each indirect material the accurate supplier and checking that the price is aligned with market prices and then works to build a strategy of cost reduction and subsequent implementation of the material.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Guiding business partners to the appropriate buy/pay channel for their purchasing requests
• Running requisition queues in purchasing system to ensure requisitions are addressed timely and in accordance with service level agreements
• Gathering business purchasing requirements and solicits vendor quotes for goods and services requested by business stakeholders
• Analyzing reports generated from purchasing systems to identify areas of noncompliance, process exceptions and incomplete transactions  
• Building collaborative relationships with business partners and other Procurement teams to ensure the indirect procurement operations is viewed as a valued partner
• Addressing inquiries raised by vendors and business collaborators related to purchasing transactions (e.g., requisitions, POs, etc.)
• Handling commercial agreements directly with suppliers ensuring that the supply chain is regulated, generating advantage for the organization following the corporate guidelines
• Definition and implementation of local purchasing strategies and consequent Delivery Plans, Open Purchase Order, consignment stock and Kanban

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 1-3 years experience in a procurement role or similar
• Proficient in Italian language (verbal and written)
• Proficient in English language
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
