In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Ensure the purchased product’s quality through the continuos monitoring and improvement of suppliers performances by using the general QA principles (FMEA, MSA/Gage R&R, Control Plans, Capability Analysis, SPC, Root Cause Analysis, Process Mapping, etc);
  • Conducts the technical review meetings with suppliers as defined through technical and QA requirements established for each new item to be sourced;
  • Prepares, provides, analyzes and processes the First Article Approval (FAA) documentation, award the FAA final disposition and notifies the related departments and suppliers against it;
  • Collate and evaluate supplier quality data to identify process improvement opportunities within the supply cha
  • Ensures the management of improvement projects for critical suppliers;
  • Performs approval and surveillance audits in line with the requirements of ESAC and production processes at suppliers sites;
  • Conducts Suppliers Corrective Actions Requests (SCAR) process, analyze and award the final dispositions the reports provided by suppliers;
  • Facilitate corrective actions of supplier quality issues;
  • Work with the supplier directly, build correction action plans to address failures for delivered components;
  • Review supplier manufacturing processes, collaborate with suppliers on process improvement and value enhancement opportunities.

For this Role, You Will Need:

  • Engineering degree, preferably mechanical.
  • Minimum 2 years confirmed experience in the technical field, production, engineering or metrology;
  • Experience in interpretation of the technical drawings, geometrical dimensions and tolerances;
  • Proficient in English
  • Digital literacy: Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of ISO standards
  • Availability to travel abroad – up to 10-25% of the working time.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Know specific techniques in quality assurance (FMEA, SPC, DOE,  Control Plan, 8D and process mapping);
  • Experience in working in highly supervised industry domains and use the international standards such as ISO, EN, ASME, ASTM, DIN, UNI, BS, etc.
  • Usage of statistical tools specific to the quality system;
  • Experience in supervising and optimizing production processes;
  • Good communication and relationship skills
  • Ability to work with deadlines
  • Experience with problem solving techniques and structured approach to problems;
